Resilient, accomplished and confident young men
At Churchie, our calling is to assist in the development of the whole person. We foster growth and development in the life of every young man through academic, wellbeing, cocurricular and spiritual opportunities. In this way, students can grow in character, build resilience, and strive to achieve and grow.
Personal growth
Personal growth, a key tenet of the School, is fostered through a comprehensive range of opportunities to build well-balanced and resilient individuals. Growth occurs across structured programmes and is also embodied in every school activity—physical and leadership growth in sports and activities, teamwork and collaboration in curriculum learning, resilience and challenge in outdoor education, and self-awareness and social maturity in the service programme.

The house system
Pastoral care at Churchie is centred around a well-established and valued house system. Houses are ‘vertical’, in that they span year levels to create multi-age communities across the School, where expert staff provide care, support and guidance. Social connections and belonging is strengthened through fun, vibrant interhouse activities. The strength of the Churchie house system is seen in the long-lasting house identities and friendships that continue well after school.
